At this time, the LO300 RC is still reviewing and revising the required equipment list, but for your convenience, the 2009 documents are posted for informational purposes only. The Lake Ontario 300 Solo Challenge The Great Lakes Singlehanded Society and the Lake Ontario 300 are pleased to announce the “Lake Ontario 300 Solo Challenge” (LO300SC) which will start on Saturday, July 17th, 2010. The event will start and finish at the Port Credit Yacht Club located west of Toronto. The course will be a 300 nautical mile circumnavigation of Lake Ontario. A singlehanded class, known as the LO300SC will be offered within the larger Lake Ontario 300 Yacht Race. The rules for this class will be somewhat different than those for the crewed classes. 2009 Physical Condition of Skippers 2009 Lake Ontario 300 Solo Anti-Exposure Suit for Multihulls Resumé and Solo Passage Documentation - Non GLSS Members OnlyNon-GLSS members who wish to enter the Lake Ontario 300 Solo Challenge, must submit a Sailing Resumé and also a Solo Passage Documentation form to be considered for entry. Early submission of these documents will allow the GLSS Board of Directors ample time for review, and provide you with time to correct any deficiencies. |
